A simple mid back exercise to relieve stiff shoulders

Try this mid back burner to relieve your stiff shoulders!

The Setup: Start in tall kneeling with your core engaged. Hinge forward at the hips while maintaining a neutral spine with your eyes forward.

The Movement: Roll your shoulder blades down and back. Then, bring your arms up to your sides with palms facing down. Open your arms by reaching overhead without moving your torso. Think “snow angels” in the air.

Remember! Keep the pace slow to avoid swinging your arms with momentum. This should light up the muscles behind your shoulder and in your upper back - aka your shoulder stabilizers!
